Helping Kibera Women To Help Themselves
Welcome
to this new blog on Kibera Women Jewelry
project. This is our online platform for information sharing and communication
with the aim to enhance Kibera women’s economic independence through the
creation and selling of traditional jewelry and handicrafts from Kenya.
This
is our self-help initiative on voluntary basis, supported by some very
committed and dedicated individuals for the noble cause of assisting various
women groups finding an alternative to improve their livelihoods through the
talents and skills they possess in jewelry and handicrafts making.
However we need your
support – both technical and financial – to achieve our objective. We have a
long way to go in supporting our unfortunate but talented women therefore any
type of assistance from the public is most welcome. We need your great ideas,
manpower support or donations towards this cause.
